Recent Projects: Pine Acres Lodge; Pacific Grove

The peaceful setting of Pine Acres Lodge accommodates visitors looking for a nightly rental, a vacation rental or investments in shared ownership. The 14 units range from a small, cozy Studio to a 2-Bedroom Town home big enough to accommodate 4-6 people.
Pine Acres understands the need for guest internet services and contacted SF WiFi for a wireless solution.
This project entails saturating the property with signal for all the units, and common areas. The limited access to cable installation also was a challenge. Our wireless solution provides superior coverage, capacity and ease of use management features to seamlessly support today’s mobile user. iOS 7 and Captive Portal Issues

The release of iOS 7 has created some issues for wireless users. Specifically for updated iOS users connecting to wireless networks with captive portal functions. This is not a wireless hardware issue. The standard iOS pop up to connect to splash page may not function. Apple has changed the way iPhone performs the test to see if the device is connected behind a captive portal. Splash pages can be accessed by simply opening a web browser although some users are not familiar with that technique.
There are other work a rounds and configuration fixes that can be applied to the wireless network. Contact SF WiFi for more information
