Recent upgrade project: Pavilion Inn

Project Description
With a clientele consisting of tech-savvy leisure and business travelers, the Pavilion Inn needed a robust wireless network to provide free WiFi access in all guest rooms and suites, as well as the hotel’s public areas.

Our Solution
SF WiFi designed and installed a secure network that provided complete wireless signal coverage, high-speed Internet access, high user capacity, and rate limiting bandwidths for each guest. For a truly worry-free WiFi system, we also conduct remote monitoring, on-call troubleshooting/tech support, and routine maintenance to ensure the network is operating smoothly . With SF WiFi’s solution in place, the Pavilion Inn is able to offer

Holiday Inn Express in Redwood City
Located in the heart of Silicon Valley—less than 25 miles from downtown San Francisco and San Jose—the Holiday Inn Express in Redwood City offers easy access to shopping, dining, entertainment, and business destinations for vacationers and business visitors.

Project Description
With a clientele consisting of tech-savvy leisure and business travelers, the Holiday Inn Express needed a robust wireless network to provide free WiFi access in all guest rooms and suites, as well as the hotel’s public areas. A wireless network was also crucial for operation of the hotel’s high-tech helper, a robot which relies on WiFi to navigate the hallways for deliveries to the proper guest rooms.

Upcoming event: The Intersect Symposium

The Intersect, a global symposium presented by CRE // Tech, returns to San Francisco on June 16, 2016 (http://cretechintersect.com/#about). The event brings together leaders from the commercial real estate (CRE) industry to discuss and learn about emerging and innovative technologies. Through live demos and presentations by the industry’s thought leaders, CRE professionals get a glimpse of the latest technologies and their effects on the CRE market.
CRE // Tech, the event’s organizer, contacted SF WiFi to provide wireless services for the symposium’s 150+ users and the exhibitors.
This project required a robust WiFi system to support the CRE professionals attending the symposium, the event speakers, and the numerous applications that will be demonstrated at the exhibitor booths.  SF WiFi installed a wireless solution that offered enterprise-specific features such as channel interference avoidance, rate limiting, power over Ethernet, and mesh access points in locations that could not accommodate network cables. The result? A hassle-free, worry-free event WiFi system that allowed the event organizer to focus on innovative CRE technologies, not worry about wireless service issues.
